would i benefit from either one of these with my mods? i know i would obviously get more out of a dyno tune chip but will there be that much of a difference comparing it with a off the shelfer from a good company like diablo, superchip, etc?
well i have come to the conclusion that it would be more obvious to get a dyno tune when i have my h/c/i and blower setup done since i dont think the 600+ dollars im gonna spend is gonna do me any good with the mods i have now......i just wanna get some power out of the mods i have now with a burned chip....who makes a good burned chip and how much do they go for?
Buy a SVO Motorsport RPM extender off Ebay or the mustang sites. I have on and I love it. When you get ready for the dyno tune, just sell it and get your money back.
While you can get some gains from a tune now, it would be better just to wait until you do your heads and cam, that way you're not spending the money twice.
OR....... you could buy a twEECer or a PMS, and be able to tune it yourself as many times as you want.
A chip at your bolt on level is money pissed away. Then you have to have it reburned for the h/c/i, then reburned for the blower yada yada. Do it right and get a device and a datalogging wideband
