Do any shops have the capability to dyno tune and reprogram your STOCK ecu instead of having to use a chip? Or is this practice impossible on mustangs?

How much do they charge for this? Does it make more/less sense than getting a reprogrammable chip from a cost point of view?
Well, for the price I'd contact whoever is gonna tune your car but I'd expect in the neighborhood of $500 for a reflash. Reflash/Chip..........that depends on what your'e doing with the car and your modifications. The 4 bank chips are nice bc you can run 4 different tunes with them.....ie street tune, race gas tune, valet tune, etc. Reflash is nice for cars that serve one purpose or only require one tune...........ie street car that will only run on pump gas.
