How do you guys drive your supercharged cars to get them tuned without the car being tuned in the first place and not blow head gaskets etc...

Lock timing at 10 and leave out the spout.

Do you think ill be ok with 9psi and no tuning or chip driving an hour to the tuning place?

I have 12 degrees locked timing at 12 psi and I have been racing my car w/o a tune since replacing my head gaskets and haven't heard a hint of any detonation.

How did you get your car to idle and run correctly without an fmu and just the 42lb injectors?

You don't need an fmu with 42 lb injectors.

But when you removed the fmu and just ran the 42lb injectors how did you get the car to idle and run correctly?

I never had one, I bought the S-Trim as a tuner kit. I bought my MAF, 42# injectors, 255 FP & Power Pipe separate. I set timing to 10 and ran 40 #'s of fp. It was where my car was at prviously with an n2o set-up.

Did your car run well with that setup and no tune?

It runs great but you should really get it tuned on a dyno.

What the hell, Ive been driveing my car around for like a month with out a tune and I havent had any driveability problems at all. Ive hit plenty of boost and all that. I also got 36# injectors, and a 77 MAF. The guy I bought the MAF off of said it was sent to pro-m to be calibrated for 10 #'s. Is that why my car drives/idles/whatever fine?

The answer is easy -- do not let it get into boost on the way to the dyno. I don't know about you, but I can drive my car at normal speeds all day long without ever going over 25% throttle.
