After I did the dyno I had some mis fire so changed the mas air to the 55 and that got rid of the misfire and hesitation.

Was it the same dyno, same dyno tech and similar weather conditions? LOTS of things can effect a dyno read and unless you keep all of the variables to a minimum it is not unusual to see different results from different dynos...or even the same dyno. Instead of looking at peak numbers look for area under the curves and smooth lines.

Is it possible the 1.7 are causing valve float? What shape are your springs in?

You can try putting the larger meter back on, leave it unbolted and the hose clamps a little loose and start the car. Then rotate the meter to see if the miss goes away. The idea behind this is all about the port flow and where the sensor element is reading the air flows.

I was under the impression the cobra computer is calibrated for 24's and used a stock style maf...if I'm reading this correctly your added maf is calibrated for 24's. Could be your ECU is in conflict with the info your maf is providing, where the stock maf is providing correct feed info for the ECU to accomodate the larger injector. Not to mention I have seen over 10hp differences in dyno numbers just based on weather and how she was strapped down on the same machine.
