Dynoed Tune Today Puzzled By Numbers

I had my car dyno tuned today. I had it dynoed stock last November. It made 224rwh and 259rwt on a dyno jet. I dynoed tuned today using a Dynapak dyno. The base pull was 191rwh and 236rwt. Thats a pretty big difference between the two dyno's. After the tune using the Xcalibrator the numbers went to 203rwt and 252rwt. These numbers are no where near my stock numbers. My scanner isn't working for me to show you the numbers. The air/fuel ratio is around 14.7 until you put a load on it. The numbers change to about 12.6. Mods I have are C/L intake Plenum,75mm Accufab TB, Maganflow catback and a K&N filter in the stock box with the air silencer removed. The car does feel more responsive and it runs better. I wasn't looking for earth shattering numbers on the dyno. I gained what I thought I would. Can someone explain about the difference with the dyno's. Thanks.

For the highest numbers use a Dynojet. But whatever dyno you use keep using it you can't compare numbers between different dynos it's apples and oranges.
I should have ask the guy what type of dyno he had. I wanted to go back to the place where I had my first dyno ran. They never called me back and their email address dosen't work. I did pick up 12hp and 16 pounds of torque from the tune. The car is more responsive and I'm pleased with the results. I figured I'd gain that much. On a side note, the advertised features
for the xcal2 are not available yet. They should be available in August or September and the tuner will email them to me. You can use the DCT scanner to check engines codes now. Pearl02.

dont worry so much about the diff in numbers between the 2 dyno's no dyno is ever going to read the same as another... remember a dyno is more a tuning tool then anything else.... dont worry so much about your peak HP
I've come to that conclusion. I was surprised by the first run of 191hp. I remember thinking "wtf"? As I went thru the process I wasn't so worried about the hp figures because I could see a steady gain in power. I'm happy with the power gain. The car does run better. I guess I was more surprised by the difference between the 2 dyno's. Pearl02.

I was there with pearl02 got my 98 done and numbers started @ 216 hp first pull to 220hp after SCT tune. I think it was just the type of dyno that they use that reads low.
This truely is a small world. I was in the process of getting dynoed when this kid comes into the shop. He was there to also have his car dynoed tuned. We started to talk and Stangnet came up. It was nice to meet a fellow Stanget member and looks like we'll going to the track together. Pearl02.
