Dynomax Super Turbo? Who runs them?

Basically im sick of my flow masters 2k drone... I cant hear someone next to me talking and it gives me a headache... I must be getting old...

I dont feel like attracting too much attention I found some super turbos for $50 i know they are supposed to be quiet but ive never heard any clips.

I had them a long time ago. Had turndowns on them and they droned horribly. My current setup with Ultraflo's and tailpipes doesn't really drone and is actually fairly quiet while cruising.

I hate the drone of Flowmasters. The Dynomax Super Turbo don't have the chambers so they will be much quieter. You really have nothing to lose. Either stick with chambered and drone or change to a flow tube packed fiberglass type and be able to hold a converstation with your passenger without yelling.

I've got Dynomax Ultra Flo SS and they are loud!!! IMHO Thinking about the super turbos... Going to put my hi-flow cats on first and see if that makes it quieter!!

The super turbos suck, sound wise and performance wise. The Ultaflow mufflers can't be beat. That's what I have now, and they don't done at all.

No drone??? That last listings part number is for ultraflows. Guy wants $40 for the pair. Kurt any chance you can get a video or something? Even pictures of your car would be nice...

I'll do my best to get one. I don't have the best camera though. I promise you that if you buy the Ultraflows you will not be unpleased. Especially if you have cats. It's as quiet as you are going to get it.

my exhaust is:

Accufab 1 3/4'' Headers to 3'' Collectors Vbanded to a custom H pipe with 3'' cats that reduces to 2.5'' to a flow-master American thunder catback.

Flowmasters sound great on an almost stock car... but now that im moving some air the drone is annoying and the car is loud as all hell.

Thanks kurt... I need a balance between loud enough to cover up my loud valve train but quiet enough to talk to someone. My ears are starting to get very sensitive to loud noises.

I have the stainless Ultraflows that are like $140/piece. They are 12 years old. My sensibilities prefer a quieter car these days.
