Put in a new rear-end, and now need to adjust the E-brake cables, they barely worked when I got the car. You would think, for how complex rear drum brakes are, they would stop better. . . but I digress.

So . . . how do I adjust (tighten) the e-brake cable?

Check to see if the handle self adjuster rachet is present on your model (87-93 had it). The E brake handle had a self adjuster that took the slack out of the cables. Sometimes the rachet assembly would stick, some cleaning & a shot of WD40 fixes it.
