Anybody ever take the whole e-brake assembly out of the car? What is the secret to getting the cablke off? I'm putting in new carpet and figured it would be much easier to install with everything that sticks up out of the way. Plus, I figured I'd go ahead and get the leather wrapped one from
5.0 resto to replace it. From what it seems like so far, it might take two people to do it. One to pry the spring around and hold it and one to twist the cable out of there. Any tricks or secrets would be much appreciated. Thanks, Russ
