After 40 years my plastic handle broke. The new one broke after two weeks. This one will stay.
I took the handle to Lowes, found a pipe thread that matched the OD of the shaft coming from the E-Brake, force threaded it to the handle, drilled and tapped a hole to match the hole in the shaft for the roll pin for a hex screw, painted the pipe aluminum and there you are.
