Well, I was at the ford challenge today and purchased the UPR billet e-brake handle for my 85. Just something to jazz up the interior a little. Get out to the car and test fit it out of curiosity. It didnt fit. So I go back into the stand and tell the guy that sold it to me and they were very nice. They gave me another one that was meant for a cobra. It had a little bit bigger hole in it I guess for a fatter e-brake handle. I get home and the billet button extends too far and hits the front edge of the console insert and it still does not want to slide on. Now Im pretty mad because it kind of shaved some plastic off of my stock handle and it looks horrible now. Im not paying another 25 in admission to go and get my money back only to break even and get sun burnt again. Has anyone ever had this problem with the e-brake handles?
