Ok so I was out at an autox, just finished a run, and the tires were very sticky. Unknowingly I parked on the timing light wire which is just some CAT-5. But anyways, it wrapped up in my rear suspension and since then my ebrake light stays on. I'm assuming that I put some pressure on the cable or something. Any thoughts? Also part 2. I just changed my spring and struts/shocks. Now my car makes some horrible rattling and clanging both front and rear. Was I supposed to put the rubber pieces onto the new springs? My CC plates came with some 3/4 inch sleeves to put on the struts. My neighbor seemed to think that I absolutely needed them on the struts and I didnt think I would. Long story short is they are on and I think they are whats making the noise up front but any insight is greatly appreciated.

On part 2 have a look at the ball joints if the car has some miles on it, say 40,000 and up. I just went through this after replacing the shocks, struts, springs and installing caster camber plates. Mine sounded like metal grinding on metal both front and rear, all I needed was front ball joints.

Good Luck
