The short T e-brake cable broke on my 95 GT. All of the spring tension is no undone. The fox setup should be the same. Not sure how much to rewind the spring back up. I also don't have another mustang around to look at. I wound it up so there is basically no space between the coils and put the pin in....man than isn't easy! Can someone have a look at theres and see what it looks like. If I have it one turn too many would that be bad?

I don't think you can put too many turns on it. The instructions to rewind it are in the haynes manual, but it's not hard, just takes three hands.you wind it up untill you can pass an allen key or something through the hole in the housing to hold it in place, then mount it, run the cable, pull allen key out.. all good.

Man that begining section of mine broke, I tried to rewind it back when I had my tranny out and I just gave up. My ebrake is 1st gear, or a block of wood when needed, lol.
