e-coating questions

Has anyone had their car e-coated? I am going to have the fastback stripped with a non-acid chemical stripper. The company recommended one of their Friends for e-coating. It is supposed to be some kind of zinc-phosphate coating. Will I still need to put the epoxy primer over this stuff? Will the primer stick to it? I need educating.

P.S. Can anyone tell me why I have to log in every time I try to post? I started the illegal immigration thread in the talk section and thought maybe I was in trouble:D .

I had my doors and fenders chemically stripped a few weeks ago. They put a corrosion "resistant" coating on it. They said it would "help" to stop flash rusting but not eliminate it in very high humidity. I don't know if this is the same as E coating or not.

You're still going to have to prime/epoxy prime it, but maybe not right away. But I'd still say the sooner the better.
