That's funny. I was looking at the federal mogul rebuild kits in the summit rag and the comp ratios they give are with 58.2cc heads. I thought those numbers were off a bit. Who has a 58cc head made in 82-95? I am just curious who made them, and why summit chose that cc volume. Seems odd. Oh well.
Just in case anyone wanted to know the rebuild kit comp ratios are as follows:
Forged: 10.13:1 listed... actually more like 9.3:1
Hyper: 9.08:1 listed... more like 8.5:1 (stock I think)
I got the listed numbers from the summit rag and the actual #'s from the federal mogul website's comp ratio calculator.
Yeah, I just think that is kind of misleading on their part. Not everybody would even think to look at the volume. Most people would just see the ratio and take them at their word. I almost did.
