Earl put a new anti-roll bar on the '91 and it immediately paid off. He is running non-adjustable (and really worn out) Lakewood struts and shocks, 275/60-15 drag radials, and the new anti-roll bar. This simple set up got him down to a 1.490 60 foot time with no adjustments to the bar.

I just thought I would post this picture cause I was so impressed with how straight and level the car left.

And, FYI, this launch was only a 1.50-ish. The track was real greasy on this launch. The 1.490 hit came later...... wish I had gotten that picture!!!

Dayum, that car looks fast!!!!! :D
One hell of a photographer as well....

Was a fun day at the track... Brandon got his girlfriend to make some passes (little does he know she makes passes all the time...hehehe....) in the Grabber Orange bracket master... The track was so greasy that his basically stock GT was lighting them up at the hit!!!! Made for an impressive show...

John, the ARB is made by Baseline Suspensions... www.baselinesuspension.com... It seems to work great... Set it at 0 preload and got very flat launches... I was surprised to see in the pictures that the front wheels are coming off of the ground, as you don't really feel them hit hard on the landing... Must be rebounding pretty softly, which is exactly what I would want...

It was Brandon's genius that got me the 1.49 sixty foot... We had the tires at 18 and were having trouble getting the track to hold... Everyone was for that matter, so B suggested dropping them down to 15... Lowest that I have run them, but guess it was a sweet spot for them that day because on the next run the car hooked and ran like hell... I had dialed at 11.35 and ended up running an 11.03... Needless to say, I broke out and lost.... :notnice:

Not sure what is next... Can't decide if I want to plumb the car for N20 and dip it deep into the 10's or just call it good on this one and start working on the Notch... One thing that I did note however is that on one run the car got really loose on the big end and I puckered just a bit... Maybe I don't have the cahones for a high 8 pass at 145+ in the Notch...

I would love to be at Bremerton next weekend, but I have an R/C car race with my little car guy... He is trying to take the Kid's Division championship spot from my older son, so gotta make a little time for that...
