well i was out driving this morning when some dude flagged me down. ended up buying an off road h pipe for 25 bucks. no idea on the make or anything but for 25 bucks, if it bolts up thats all that matters.

anyways i have a feeling like this is one of those "if ya gotta ask..." type deals but how hard is it to install an H pipe in a driveway. bad idea or definitely do-able?

definitely do-able. do you have long tubes or shorties? are there flowtubes on the mufflers so you can disconnect your current midpipe and bolt the new one in or is it welded? ease of install depends on your setup. if you have stock stuff right now, the just unbolt the factory H at the headers, and again where they connect to the flowtubes (section of piping welded to mufflers) and drop it out. do the reverse for install

It can be done, getting the H-pipe on with the hangers is a PITA, some guys leave the hanger off. Be sure to soak your old bolts with some PB Blaster, I'm sure they are rusted. Did you check the threads on the O2 bungs to see if they arent cross threaded or something, I'm a little leary about those guys that jump out at you and try to sell $25 H-pipes.

haha yeah really, who does that?

"I got these cheeeeeseburga's man!"

hahahahaha love the cheeseburger line!

but yea yea keep up the jokes about the h pipe for 25 bucks. if it sounds good when its put on im gonna be the one laughing:D. im gonna try and put it on tomorrow, i have one of my more mechanically inclined friends coming over to help so i should be in good shape. and like i said, if it fits on and sounds good, i'll def have to get a clip up on here.

thanks for the comments guys

getting the hangers in place is def the hardest part....but def worth the time to reinstall them. Nothing worse than a half assed exhaust job w/ the mid pipe hanging an inch off the ground...
