I haven't waxed my car in forever, primarily because it takes forever. Are there any waxes/polishes that do the job quickly and well? Or am I stuck following Mr. Miyagi's teachings the next time I have 3 horus to kill on a weekend?

What kind of wax have you been using? I usually use either liquid Maguire's or Turtle Wax. Takes me about an hour to completely wax any of my cars. The last go around I tried some old 25 year old paste I had on the shelf and that took about 45min just to apply. It still worked well, though.

Oh wait, wrong topic lol.

I think the Mother's carnuba wax might be your best best as I hear it lasts the longest, either that or Zymol. I tried waxing the white Mustang before it got totalled and the Zymol was relatively easy, the main thing that made it hard was that I didn't have a wax applicator pad and you really need a good one to do the job right with Zymol.

I buy liquid spray on carnuba wax from an auto detailer distributor. It's pretty thin stuff and I spray it from a squirt bottle. It's very easy to apply but the down side is that it doesn't last very long in the elements but at $18 for a gallon, I think it's worth it.

I have one of the slow speed oscilating 10" buffers and it reall speeds things up. I like that fact that you can really bear down with both hands when removing the wax. I dont really have any input though on which wax but like my ol' Turtle wax.
