Has anyone ever used this? You can see it here.

I have an ARC welder that was given to me and need to replace the inside of the fender area around the battery tray. I was hoping that this might be the easiest way for me to do it myself (and learn a little in the process).

Thanks!

I bought one and have used it some. It works OK. It can be easy to burn through thinner metal if you aren't careful. Spend some time practicing on scrap metal and you'll do just fine with it. Good luck !

That's certainly not a problem. Most of the front of the car could be considered scrap metal at this point.

I've got a hood that's rusted through in the front that I'll probably use for learning...

Thanks!
