Eaton blower?

If someone has an explorer lower couldnt they bolt this up? I realize there will be a need to fab a few things but for the most part it should fit. It says its an eaton unit similar to the t-birds. I wonder how difficult it would be to get a blower off a t-bird get the adapter parts (if they sell them seperatley) and bolt it on.

Thats what it reads at the top of the page. Im sure a real kit for our cars would be better but I was just curious about the possibility.

My wife's Xploder has that same SC.. I don't think it would be worth the trouble to try to make it work on a Mustang, among other things the "snout" runs right where the distributor is on our cars.. thats a big bunch of fab to work around.

I second the KB, that Eaton is a little on the expensive side.

Eaton M90 $75-125

yeah if you buy an eaton off ebay, it dosent come with a manifold to bolt up to ours. They come with an open bottom! Also, explorers have different pully setups than ours. not to mention, the s/c that comes in that kit is an eaton 62 wich is REALLY small, and would suck.

BTW, if anyone here is interested in an Eaton Blower, I have one that I will sell. It's an M-90 from a SuperCoupe. 1.5L positive displacement. Just PM me.....

I was talking about fabbing it all. I don't even think ANYONE makes a kit for our cars. BBK used to have a similar set-up is the past. It kind of sucked though.

Yeah, me and rio95 have both almost done this. It would be very easy to fab a sheetmetal lower.
