Eaton Differential Case Made overseas!

You pretty much summed it up there 99StanGT.

Sounds to me like all you whiners would be better off selling your 'Stangs and buying a tuner car! Try supporting our country a little more people.
You have that attitude like the "Beancounters" who are the ones responsible for jobs leaving here and going overseas so CEO's can get their big Payoff's.
People like you make me sick! You people are the reason that are country is going down the ****ter everytime you buy your $hitty foreign cars.

I'd rather walk than own a foreign car or truck!

From what I've heard, you might need that warranty when that Auburn blows up. Will their warranty cover labor on pulling it out and installing a new one, or in the event that it blows and trashes your ring and pinion?

EDIT: A lot of those "foreign" cars and trucks are being built in the USA now. So who are you really supporting?

Bottom Line, what matters to me is quality.

If the foreign part is better I buy it. If the American made part is better I buy it. I really don't give a rat's a$$ where it is made. I prefer to buy the best when I can afford it. If that means it was made over seas, then so be it.

When I bought my Eaton it had nothing to due with which was cheaper. I heard nothing but problems with Auburns so I opted for the Eaton. I am not about to buy an inferior product just because it is made in America.

Just my honest opinion

At the moment my family owns one of each of the big three Japanese makers. I've got a Nissan PU, my dad has a Toyota 4Runner and my mom has a Honda CRV. If Toyota made a RWD sports/pony car from the iForce V8, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
There will NEVER be anything other than an American (built in Mexico) car in my driveway. *runs out to park the Ford Probe at the neighbors*

Granted it is getting harder and harder to find anything made in the US anymore. Even when it does have the USA label on it the requirements are that 75% of the final product be of US origin whether it be the labor or materials. But, I will still buy as much as I can made in the US even if it means doing without an item I want but don't need.

Buy American. The job you save may be yours.

they are all on backorder because of steel costs!! i have been trying to order one for 3 weeks... the auburn is a hunk of junk that will fall apart and worst of all its isnt rebuildable. THe only thing that auburn has going for it is thier ironclad one year warranty...if you get the auburn stay out of the water box and get a line lock!!! Im waiting for the eaton.
