How difficult is it to mount an Eaton M112 supercharger (from a stock 04 Cobra) to a 1998 2V 4.6L NPI engine?

Also, what's involved? Are their any write ups? What do these superchargers go for right now (parts included in offer: supercharger, throttle body, wire harness, injectors, and upper manifold)?

Thanks.

Here is a kit so all you need to add is the blower and fuel stuff...

Kit $1899
Injectors $400
MAF & adapter $140
Fuel pump $80
Heat exchanger $275
Intercooler Pump $100
Hood (used) $300
M112 blower (used) $500
Hoses and fittings $100
Belts $30
Reservoir $100
Throttle body & Plenum (Used) $50
Intake tube C&L $150
Filter K&N $180
Dyno tune $300

Total $4604

I am sure there will be several hundred in little extras. Why not sell the GT and add the 5K you save and just buy a 03 cobra? The GT will still have the weak crank and glass rods and crapy pistons. Add the boost and very soon you will be buying a new forged longblock. Also the GT heads and Cam don't exactly favor the blower.

I talked to tork tech and asked that same question, he said that anything that bolts up to a cobra can bolt up to a 2v. So basicly instead of buying that 2.6l kenne bell for 5.5k you can get the intake for 1.9 then buy a used kenne bell or a used huge Whipple for 3k and have a mamoth for under 5k. Plus you can start out with an m112 then move up, but honestly with anything over 500hp i think the centrifugal are better because you can actually get traction.

Dont forget 96-98 still needs PI heads for that to fit.

For 1,899 they should include everything but the blower. Injectors, MAF, brackets everything should come with that for 1,899.

A Great Bottom-end with Ported Heads, Great Cams, LT's 2v could handle a 2.8 fine. Whats the difference in that and slapping a Huge Novi 2000 or D1SC Procharger on it and running like 16-18lbs? they aint

I dont know about you but maybe you havnt looked at kelly blue book since 2004 or something. A 1900-1998 will sell for max of 4-5k in good condition. 99-04 sell for about 5-10k depending on year and mileage and 03-04 cobra still sell for 19-24k. Your better off buying a used 05 for 14k and supercharging it and then you'll have a better looking car with 450hp. Now if you want big numbers like 700-800 then id suggest a rebuild and ported heads, cams and a supercharger. Will cost you about 10k total, but still much cheaper than buying an 03 cobra, then paying 5k for a supercharger and upgrades.
