hope that helped... i got the same intake you're lookin at, i just chopped it isnt of doin a fenderwell... i believe i used whatever was stock... it was so long ago, i sorta forget lol

yeah you're gonna have to save the stock maf though and use it between the piping as the pictures above show, im not sure if that was your exact question but yeah.

(edit) I read your post wrong, yes there is a place to mount them

It sure does. The IAT bung on my kit was the wrong size so I had to modify the hole a bit to get it to fit. Other than that, no complaints. :nice:

Wes
Mine was also kinda hard to get in. I guess Im just stronger than you. :D

Thanks for the help guys. I understand now. Just, from the pictures I didnt see any place to mount the existing MAF in there, so I was kinda wondering. Thanks again.
I was wondering the same thing before I ordered my CAI.

see ...the pic in the link does not show the two cylinders........Eric knows which ones I'm talking 'bout...

I like to call em. "butt plugs"

Thanks btw. :nice:

The are the two parts that pop into the rubber parts under the air box. The bolt to the bottom part of the plate that blocks the fender from the engine bay, and they pop into the rubber grommets.
I dont think the majority of the eBay CAI's come with them for some reason.

Thanks for the pic, it helps clear things up a little. Still not too clear on how the MAF mounts in there though. Hopefully it'll make a little more sense when the kit gets here.

It makes sense once you see it. The MAF is in the stock black air box, you take it out, and it bolts ontothe back pipe, and has the coupler holding it to the front pipe.

EDIT: Other way around.

Once you get it u will see.......there is a flange that has 4 nuts and bolts that when you remove your MAF out of the stock air box you attach it to the pipe...and then use the rubber couplers and clamps.......

u will be fine...
