Thanks for the help. So the new kit comes with a new place to mount in your MAF and IAT? Thanks again.

(edit) I read your post wrong, yes there is a place to mount them

It sure does. The IAT bung on my kit was the wrong size so I had to modify the hole a bit to get it to fit. Other than that, no complaints.

Thanks for the help guys. I understand now. Just, from the pictures I didnt see any place to mount the existing MAF in there, so I was kinda wondering. Thanks again.

I looked at the link and it looks like it comes with the cylinder that attaches in the grommets......which is good...

One more question. That piece of piping that the MAF is mounted in, was that included in your kits? I dont really see anything resembling that in the pics of the product.

I like to call em. "butt plugs"

Thanks btw.

The are the two parts that pop into the rubber parts under the air box. The bolt to the bottom part of the plate that blocks the fender from the engine bay, and they pop into the rubber grommets.
I dont think the majority of the eBay CAI's come with them for some reason.

Thanks for the pic, it helps clear things up a little. Still not too clear on how the MAF mounts in there though. Hopefully it'll make a little more sense when the kit gets here.

It makes sense once you see it. The MAF is in the stock black air box, you take it out, and it bolts ontothe back pipe, and has the coupler holding it to the front pipe.

EDIT: Other way around.

Once you get it u will see.......there is a flange that has 4 nuts and bolts that when you remove your MAF out of the stock air box you attach it to the pipe...and then use the rubber couplers and clamps.......

u will be fine...
