I wonder if the 37K miles is real...or miles since the body kit was slapped on?

I'm still researching the kit, but it was a conversion in the late 80s that used to be done. Seems its pretty rare (and ugly) but it was popular. I guess

I was around in the 80's and don't remember seeing one of those fugly things ever. The closest Mustang I can remember was the JBA wide body kit. For the time, it didn't look that bad.

The wide body kit above had a purpose,...getting a wider tire under the car was obviously the intent, w/ an emphasis on better handling as a result.

The kit originally posted is pure hideous,....no purpose other than one mans' idea of "style". The lines are completely distorted beyond recognition,...just terrible.

Always a culture thing that makes what one guy sees as terrible,...look good to another. Always made me wonder how culture changed perception.

I like well done wide body kits. That JBA set up looks good. "Study it" looks like dog doo doo, and that's putting it nicely. There is a company here in Vegas that makes a wide kit for sn95's. Allows 315's in the front and 335's in the rear.

More of a fender flare kit than anything else.
