Take a look at this car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cert...4599674225QQcategoryZ6236QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem. The guy is very ambitious with the buy it now price. If he bought it at auction in Florida I hope he didn't give anywhere near that for it! Repaired it is a $18K car. Clearing the Certificate of Destruction isn't as easy as he makes it seem! Its not cheap either. Just to let everyone know a thing to remember when buying a salvage or wrecked 94-up car. When the airbags deploy it damages the dash inner structure. You almost alwasy have to replace the dash. It isn't cheap and the body shops charge alot of hours to do it. I believe they charge 12-14 hours to do it. If the strut rail has to be replaced it is $1200 or more to get it done right per rail.

For the right price it would be good for a personal car. It has lost its resale value. I have seen these cars sell at the auction for under $7K. The amount of work required to fix it makes it a tough sale. I could fix it myself but, it would take about a week if all I did was work on it for 8 hours a day. I had rather buy a theft recovery. It saves alot of time!
