No experience with Hawks on my Stang, But I bought the performance street ones for my jeep and they work great, altough they are louder then the stock pads and they did say the would be. Dont know if this applies to the mustang but just letting you know if they say the are louder than they really are. Also, i got them from tirerack.com and was very pleased with the service.
