I just bought anew mustang, and the ebrake doesnt work, which really sucks cause its a manual. So I checked the handle assembly, and its fine. SO I thought it would be the small cable that connects to the two rear cables, it wasntl. Turns out the owner had cut both rear cables before they met the joiner piece. So, are the cableson epiece until they hit the drums, or how can I fix this? Any info would help, thanks

I know that I am going to have to replace the cables, I am asking how to go about doing that. Are they one piece from the splitter to the drums? And is so, how do you disconnect them from the drums.
