Camshafts don't present the clearance problems. Rocker arms do.

If you remove the baffles from the rockers, they should work.

no need to remove anything from your stock setup. got an e303 in mine and i didnt have any clearance issues. now if you are using 1.7rr's then there is a possibility of something there. our cars dont like the e303 too much and im getting a twEECer cause of that reason cause my car dont like to idle too well. except when she does, she sounds friggin mean

just thought about it...cobras come with the 1.7rr's dont they. ive been told it will work but to double check clearance after you put it in. dont wanna promise anything but ive seen guys running e303 in cobras

1.7 RR'S WILL CLEAR

The "cobra" 1.7's will fit under stock valve covers, 1.6 "blue" rr's will not fit under stock covers 94-95, without removing the baffles.(been there, tried it)
I'm running an e-303 cam with 1.7 RR'S, and they fit fine under my stock valve covers with the baffles left on them.

I have not had any problems at all because I have an Anderson Ford PMS system in the car. Before I put in, the car still idled fine, it just idles awesome now.
