My E9ZF-12A650-CA in my 91 is dead especially after i tried to replace the capacitors and made it more dead lol. Can a junkyard A9P go right in with no VIN flash required,or do i need to find a guy? Everywhere i look and everyone i call are out of stock so pull a part feels like last option

Finding an A9x in a junkyard these days would be like hitting the lotto.

These ecus are rather primitive, so no vin flashing.

Save your bad one. Someone might be able to repair it

An A9P will work, it is plug and play: I have done it with success.
You may have a problem with stalling or engine speeding up when you slow to a stop. I didn't have that problem, but it is possible.
