Guys -
Where is the ECT located? I know it's the lt green/yellow wire but that doesn't help under the engine.

Thanks in advanced...

Guys -
I think that i removed the ECT sensor, i still have the plug in the wiring harness though. I removed my heater core and heater tubes, so i'm guessing that i removed the ECT sensor as well. That's going to pose a problem, am i going to have to tap a new hole in the manifold and put the sensor there?

The ECT normally lives in the fitting that comes off the lower intake manifold and goes to the heater inlet. The best approach is to take the old tubing & re-install it with a hose on the end to loop the coolant back around. Other than that, make a trip to Home Depot or Lowes to find some brass fittings that will mate the hole in the lower intake manifold to the ECT sensor.

Thanks again man. By the time I'm done with this i'm going to owe you a few kegs.. I got the sensor and looked at the hole and i'm going to head to Home Depot and get a few brass fittings.

Man I thought I knew a lot about Mustangs engines since i have rebuilt a few but damn, you know this stuff like crazy.
