Edelbrock HIC.....

i love mine.. the install was pretty strait forward, everything just bolted up the same as stock.. as for power i was very pleased with what mine ended up making.. it still has all of the torquey SOTP power that it used to, and now just pulls like crazy above 3500 and it is still pulling past 6000.. i would definatly recomend buying it as a cheap alternative to some of the other combos out there, but still producing the same power numbers

So, sheff you just used the Edelbrock heads then...Its great hearing that you liked them and the install went well. I'm looking at the heads and intake from Edelbrock. I'm wondering about the cams they make also? I'd probably talk to comp cams for a cam, but was just wondering about the whole set up from edelbrock..

thanks for the info.

well the intake wasnt technicaly from edelbrock but its the exact same casting as a performer rpm, just with a different name.. so i cant see the install process being any different with a real edelbrock than there was with my typhoon.. the reason i went with the typhoon was because i got it for half the price of the edelbrock, the ports needed to be cleaned up a little and the tb opening was to small, but it was nothing my dremel didnt fix.. i have no complaints at all as to the way it performes and i dont think there would be much of a difference at all if i went with the real edelbrock performer rpm as opposed to my typhoon
