edelbrock rpm heads and alternator

hey everyone first post here. wanted to stard off by saying thanks i have gotten so much info off this site, never even had to post anything b4. what my problem is i have a 3g alternator and edel rpm heads and the power bolt on the alternator is really really close to the head (about 1cm) is this too close, will the electricity produced jump to the head or how do i space the alternator so it isnt so close to the heads thanks

my 3g is kinda close too, but 14 volts has to be just about touching ground to jump across. 1 cm should be fine. Now 1 mm... probably too close with vibrations.

You should be fine. A rubber cap or shield can't hurt either.
