Edelbrock Rpm Intake fit under stock hood?

Hello, I want to purchase an Edelbrock Rpm Intake for my 68...............Will it fit under the stock hood?

Yes it will. Just make sure you buy the right air cleaner with a drop base.

If you have a 289 or 302 you won't have a problem.

The RPM with and Edelbrock carb and a drop base cleaner with a short filter just barely fits under my stock hood on my 351. You should have plenty of room.

Here is mine with a 302 and the Eddy Performer RPM intake. This air cleaner has a small drop on the base. I reallyl like this air cleaner, but I believe its discontinued. You can get them on Ebay.

You can also run it with the factory HiPo style chrome air cleaner.
