Hello, I want to purchase an Edelbrock Rpm Intake for my 68...............Will it fit under the stock hood?

Yes it will. Just make sure you buy the right air cleaner with a drop base.

If you have a 289 or 302 you won't have a problem.

The RPM with and Edelbrock carb and a drop base cleaner with a short filter just barely fits under my stock hood on my 351. You should have plenty of room.

Cool.......Thanks guys.........i think i'm going to use a Holley 570 with a hipo air cleaner.

Here is mine with a 302 and the Eddy Performer RPM intake. This air cleaner has a small drop on the base. I reallyl like this air cleaner, but I believe its discontinued. You can get them on Ebay.

You can also run it with the factory HiPo style chrome air cleaner.

She runs pretty damn good. I'm happy. She does fine keeping up with the 97 Cobra.
