I'm very glad you brought this back up!! I've actually been wanting to ask if anyone else has recently tried this intake under a stock hood because none of the magazines have said anything about it (that I've read).

When you say it hits the hood, do you mean the actual hood, or the hood liner?

The hood liner...I'm gonna eventually modify that area.

I can't wait to order mine... but I'm starting to wonder if the r-series by trick flow is any worse/better???
