Good luck... traded mine Sat for an Accord for the same reason (baby coming) but mine is only at $18,900 at the dealer and it was MINT... may want to drop it a grand...

$19,500 is what I paid for mine BRAND NEW. Carmax will buy your car from you, but they only pay trade in/wholesale value. Find out what they would give you, and sell it for a grand or so more. If you're upside down, you're gonna have to come up with some $$$ to pay it off.

Dealer gave me $15,900... AND I got my Accord at $700 UNDER DEALER invoice (now that's a deal)... took 3 days to work out over the phone, but only 2 hours in the dealership. CarMax is gonna be your best bet.... I got the price of the new car in writing FIRST, then went in and told him to take the Stang to the Used Car manager. Told him the key was what he could give me for the Stang. Told him I wanted $16,200, Edmunds.com appraised it at $15,810. He started at $14,300, got him to $15,900 after 15 mins ... from there, test drive, paperwork, car detailed, on out the door!!!!
