so last night i just finished my efi to carb swap and i noticed when i started my car it was leaking what i thought was oil out of the valve covers but it turned out to be antifreeze mixed in with my oil and i dont know why  please help i used the edelbrock 7521 intake and edelbrock 600 cfm carb

Pull the intake off... clean up the mess, and re install it this way!! Dont use the cork gasket for the front and rear of the valley!! Use a good bead of "Ultra Blue" RTV!! also I us a little RTV around the intake ports on the heads, lay the intake gasket on.. and then the Intake!! The usual leak is the water ports in the front or rear of the heads.. not sealed by the intake manifold!! It is Cake to repair.. and EVERYONE has done this at least once!! cool??

Just me.........................

Thumper

Thumper pretty much covered it. I've also had good luck with the blue silicone front/back gaskets along with RTV. Just don't jump to conclusions and blame the carb swap itself :D

ok i got it does it matter that this intake does not have the water ports on the back of the intake? and just so i got it put a little rtv on the intake ports. the first time around i used rtv on the front and rear valleys
