Hey,Im helping my uncle with his truck,its an 86' F150 Lariet with an 86' Linclon 302 HO motor.The motor in the truck origanly and the linclon were of course both EFI.
He really wants to get it runing,and has a victor jr manifold for it,and will be getting a cheap carb (4bbl).
I got two questions:
1.What distributor will work best?I t has the stock dizzy with it,and I assume it would run if he kept the ECU and harnesse hooked up? It is a roller cam,so it would need a steel gear.
2.It got two tanks,and electric EFI pumps (ones inline).What the best way to regulate down the pressure to 6-8psi? I was gunna have him run a 1/2" return line to the fill tube and use a deadhead reg. with both ports feeding into the return (the carb feed would go into a T off the pump to reg. line).
