I know that someone makes a block off plate for the egr. I think it was steeda does any one know what the website is for the part i already looked on steeda's site and couldnt find it. I know I could make one but if i can find a nicer looking one then i'll get it.

UPR makes one www.uprproducts.com

Also you need a simulator so the engine know's it's blocked:

Yeah I found it right after i posted the thread. I got a friend that can redo the plug to trick the check engine light but thanks for the reminder.

I had great difficulty finding one for my '95GT. I ended up using a freeze plug from autozone. Cost about 30 cents.

Unless you're highly modified, I really don't see a reason in doing this. If you do it and it runs fine, then awsome. It may act weird with it not there.

The purpose of the simulators is to prevent a confused computer.

Deleting EGR will do nothing for performance, but it deletes one more thing to go wrong.

My friend took the EGR sensor and did some trick to that he knows and it makes the computer think that the sensor is there and working all i have to do is plug the sensor back into the harnness. So the computer will think the egr is there and working fine so it doesnt mess with anything at all. It leaves one less thing to break (like stated above) and it also really cleans up the area by the intake which is what i wanted.

The check engine light is a badge of honor.
