egr delete

i have a 95gt and i need a intake spacer to clear my valve covers. i was thinking about just deleting the egr. i already got the smog delete. will no egr effect anything . i also plan on getting dyno tune in a couple weeks.

mines been gone for years with no issues. Just have to fab the plunger midway to keep the CEL off..

if i get a tune can they turn the c.e.l. off?

They can turn the EGR function off when tuned.

Depends on what you call a tune... if your getting a chip burned then yes you can shut if off...

In the next few weeks I will post pictures of my EGR delete with dimensions and what not. It's pretty easy to make.

All I did was take a yellow wire nut and press it onto the sensor to depress the plunger ever so little...

However I will state that my car needed premium fuel due to how much timing was being put in from the car thinking the EGR was always on. Once I turned it off with the TwEECer things are all good...

So you can "delete" it but without turning it off in the computer you are not really helping anything...

A 351 cleveland manual fuel pump plate will work to delete it to. There cheap

Hey that looks familiar!!!! I was wondering if you were still selling those. It has worked great on my car for many a year.
