Guys, I have a problem, my car is eating up EGR Spacer gaskets like cookies. I know this isnt normal at all. I put an inline breather over to the air filter. I also took the off the oil filler breather and replaced it with a regular cap. I think I should have put a breather and the inline filter. I dont know whats my problem, I have NO DAMN CLUE whats causing this. Can you block off the the Coolant flow through the EGR Spacer and be alright still? Looks like im off to buy yet another set of TB gaskets. This is going on my third set. If you have ANY type of answer, please let me hear it.

you can bypass the coolant lines if you want to,just unhook the 2 hoses and put a small piece of pipe to connect the hoses together.there are other ways to bypass it but this is the easiest way.is it blowing coolant of it or just causing a vaccuum leak?

So I can do that no harm? Coolant is dripping out of the bottom of the gasket between the TB&EGR Spacer. So I can just buy new gaskets and hook the two lines together then put two plugs over the two lines sticking off the EGR Spacer no problem?

Thanks

Dave

Yes, very easy to do...

If those gaskets are leaking I would lean towards a bad seal when you put it together, the surfaces have to be very clean...

Yeah thats what I was thinking too. I cleaned it good both times I put the new ones on though, hard to say to tell the truth. But I will fix it again, right this time.

About to bite the bullet, and get me a newer style stang. Keep the green monster though, let Rick build me a beast.
