EGR SPACER OR NOT?

IM INSTALLING AN EXPLORER INTAKE W/O EGR. CAN I RUN THE THROTTLE BODY STRAIT TO THE INAKE MANIFOLD AND BE OK. MY CAR RUNS GREAT W/O THE EGR NOW. DO I NEED THE SPACER OR WILL I BE OK W/O IT? IM ON A BUDGET.

I'm running a blank spacer from Accufab because the throttle cable hooks to the spacer I think

The throttle cable bracket usually mounts to the egr spacer but you can fab something to get around this, the only other issue is if your throttle linkage will hit the metal coolant tubes to the heater core.

Can't find a blank one that's not increadibly huge without buying an accufab.

My buddy just used the factory spacer and cut out a piece of steel and screwed it to where the EGR sensor went
