well it turns out that my egr tube was crack and creating an exhuast leak, and since i am putting in bbk LTs and every one says that the tube wont fit what CAN i do to hook the header up to egr valve? would i have to make a custom pipe or does somebody make one that fit?

and another question should i use the old bolts, use the bolts that were supplied with the headers, or should I go get some new bolts from ford?

the bolts that came with the headers are all the same so I cant hook up the oil dipstick, should I use the new bolts and the old bolt for the dipstick?

I really dont want to pay 50+ for the stage 8 bolts thats why iam ask but arent they all the same?

6 hours and still counting on install

I need to make a decision by tommorrow I hate deadlines cuz i can never meet them

You should get new bolts, 1" long. And you should buy a locking set, either the Stage 8 or Breslin. If you blow one header gasket you will be agreeing with me that you "coulda, shoulda, woulda."

$50 is worth it for the time and aggrevation you will save, IMHO.

On the EGR tube, I just bolted off the header bung and EGR bung with a fitting piece. No CEL either.

Gotta make your own or get one from a junkyard.

I used lockwashers and have had zero problems the few times my headers have been off for various reasons. Even reused the same gasket (Felpro 1415).
