I needed an EGR vacuum solenoid for my '89 5.0, so I went to a few of my local wreckers and found 1 on a '90 2.3 car. Visually it looks identical to the unit supplied on the 5.0 cars.
My question is do they interchange and operate the same
Plus, does the cap on top of it have to be there in order for it to function properly
