eibach lowering or frpp lowering springs

I like the look of Eibach sportline lowering springs but i am concerned with car bottoming out on frame,bump steer, and fender rub.
The FRPP lowering springs only lower back 3/4 inch.
Which is better?
I will be running 17-10.5 rims in rear and 17x9 in front. 245 front - 275 rear

For street applications which is better constant rate or variable rate.

Sport lines... scraped the x brace a bit... no problems with the fenders... i ran camber caster plates

i'd say the pro-kit more so than the sportlines if you concerned about rubbing and bottoming out. the prokit lowers it 1.5 or so rather than 2+ with the sportlines.

Will I need camber caster plates with the pro kit and a bump steer kit.

With the ProKit, I have heard you do not need caster/camber plates or bump-steer kits.

But, if I were doing an install, I would atleast do the caster/camber plates if money was an issue.

I agree with the ProKit over the Sportlines if you are concerned about bottoming out.

On a side note, progressive rate springs will be better for a smoother, street ride vs. the linear rate springs.

i have sportlines on my 95 and i must say im doing ok with them. i run 275/35/18s up front and run 315/30/18s outback... the 315s rub every now and then, but the fronts are golden. i will be adding a set of x2 ball joints, 04 cobra a-arms, steeda bumpsteer kit and m/m caster camber plates so i think ill be covered on all bases... as for the rear, im running a set of mega bite jrs and will be running a set of steeda double adjustable uppers...

i had wearing issues with my pro kit after a year with the stock c/c plates. ended up selling the car before i replaced them but i would still recommend doing the c/c plates. not that expensive for cheapy ones, not to mention used ones.

I bought the FRPP B springs for my car. They're okay. They ride about like stock and didn't lower it so much that I needed caster/camber plates, but on the other hand it's not low enough for me. If I were to do it again I probably would have bought some H&R Super Sports from the get go.

I'd be hesitant to do the Sportlines. Sig pic below was an off-brand, but lowered about the same as the sportlines do. I had to replace them because I was dragging getting out of my driveway. I'm running Pro-kits now, and like them, although I still have to be careful going over speed bumps, etc. I can't imagine running anything lower.

Oh, yeah--I did the MM c/c kit, and wouldn't do any drop at all without adding a c/c kit. FWIW, I don't have a bumpsteer kit, and haven't felt like I need one.

Can't help you on the FRPP springs.
