Anyone have a rough idea as to how much it would cost to have Eiback Pro Kit springs put on a GT? I have the springs in my trunk and their just sitting there until I can find someone to put them in. Just wondering how much it would cost to have them put in, and then have the alignment checked and all

I bought the springs through the shop and had them installed and then realign the chassis (thrust angle alignment) and the total was about $512. The springs cost about $260 and the alignment was about $60 so figure around $200 for the install +/-.

Doing it yourself, seems the most economic. But I'm in no way experianced enough to trust my self with something important like suspension. lol. anybody live near delaware? Also, is it true that going to a place like autozone, or pepboys to have anything done is a bad idea?

for my last mustang (2000 v6) i was told $200 and said fu. just did it myself without intructions, figured it out after awhile, but im sure the mustangworld article will help. got some bs spring compressor from autozone i think it was for free. (pay 50 dollars and get money back when you return it but i dont think you need it).

you do not need a spring compressor, provided you have the car up high enough on jackstands that the control arm can be lowered enough to let the spring come out(after teh strut is unbolted) :nice:
