Anyone have a rough idea as to how much it would cost to have Eiback Pro Kit springs put on a GT? I have the springs in my trunk and their just sitting there until I can find someone to put them in. Just wondering how much it would cost to have them put in, and then have the alignment checked and all

Call shops... Location seems to impact price a lot.

I've been told $200 from a shop, when I heard that I did it myself.

I bought the springs through the shop and had them installed and then realign the chassis (thrust angle alignment) and the total was about $512. The springs cost about $260 and the alignment was about $60 so figure around $200 for the install +/-.

Doing it yourself, seems the most economic. But I'm in no way experianced enough to trust my self with something important like suspension. lol. anybody live near delaware? Also, is it true that going to a place like autozone, or pepboys to have anything done is a bad idea?

you do not need a spring compressor, provided you have the car up high enough on jackstands that the control arm can be lowered enough to let the spring come out(after teh strut is unbolted)
