Eibach Pro-Kit Spring Rate

Eibach Pro-Kit/Sportlines Spring Rate

Does anybody know what the average spring rate is front & back for an Eibach Pro-Kit? & what about Sportlines?

the only thing i heard about eibach is bad, that they tend to sag over time, your better off with H&R at least thats what I heard

I plan to get H&R but I want to have a basis on which to compare the spring rates on H&Rs website to the 2" lowering Eibach Sportlines I had on my 2K GT. I never had problems w/ them sagging & I romped on the gas @ every stop light for over 2 years w/ them in the car.

Springs

Eibachs do not sag! All springs when new will take about 3-4 days to "settle".Ihave been doing this for about 30yrs. and they all do it. some take longer,some shorter. My Eibach pro kit is now 4yrs.old and is the same height as when they settled in. Get a ford racing cat.look for the "F" springs.This is the "pro-kit" the spring rates are printed out. The pro kit + IMO is the best bang for the buck. These German guys make most of everyone's springs anyway. Dont be fooled,do some homework.

W/out having to order a catalog preferrably. I want to know the spring rates but not enough to spend $$. I'll just call H&R tech tomorrow.

Since you been doing this for 30 years.......WTF is that clunking noise under my hood.....camber plates? Min were installed three days ago

Clunking noise as in what happens when some portion of your A/C hits the firewall after the line swells due to turning on the A/C or defroster & Ford not putting something behind it so you wouldn't hear it in you car kind of clunking?

LOL No man, this only came about after i had my suspension put in. When I hit rough part of the road it clunks like metal to metal

pro kit-coupe=460-570 fr, 200-250 rear
pro kit-vert= 460-570 fr, 170-310 rear
sportlines-660 fr, 260 rear
race-700-850 fr, 200-260 rear
