Does anybody have anything equal to the drop of the Sportlines. I know Eibach doesnt make them yet, because my car is there now for R&D, but according to the guy, they tried it on aother car a while back and for some reason they didnt work right. Im getting them made and installed free if they work.............if not their giving me the Pro-Kit.

I was just wondering if there were other kits out ther on convertibles with same amount of drop.

Do you mean to tell me that the suspension is different on a convertible? That doesn't make any sense.

well apearantly, the springs dont cross over from a hardtop to convertible according to most of the companies i called. The R&D guys at Eibach said they tried a sportline kit a while back and there wasnt enough travel in convertible suspension, so they scrapped the idea.....now they are trying it again on my car to reingeneer them.

HnR's coilover kit for the Mustangs work on both Coupe GT and Convert GT. The only different model they make is for the lighter V6 version. Which also works for the Coupe V6 and Convert V6.

Actually I just checked their site. Their coil over kit is for ALL models of Mustang. The max lowering is determined by the car they are on. So anywhere from 1" to 2" drop. But their kit covers the entire range of motion no matter what.

it has a firmer ride, i just hope it doesnt sag anytime soon. The front of the rocker moulding is about 3 inches off the ground, so a body kit might not be the best idea.

This is why an adjustable spring perch either as a kit with the spring or from a coil over kit is desirable. Lets you dial in the exact ride height to your liking. Instead of the what-you-see-is-what-you-get.

They also help to reduce the number of posts on the forums, "What spring looks best!", etc.
