Eibach Springs

I just put the Eiabach pro-kit 1-1/2" drop on my car about a mounth and a 1/2 ago. It has not dropped enough. Can I heat the springs to drop it more is so how do you do it? Or what can I do?

I would give it sometime, my Sportlines took a long time to drop. Let me ask you this, do you have a lot of speed bumps where you drive?

Also, I have a hard time getting on some lifts because of my lowered car.

LOL i know, even with my pro kit i have to lift up on the fender.

yea i go over a lot of speed bumps but it never really bottoms out. the drop is still a little uneven. i love the drop dont get me wrong but it needs to be like an 1-1/2" lower i think. what should i do?

Do you have the isolators on?

This might be a stupid question but what are the isolaters?

spring isolators that prevent road noise traveling through the spring itself throughout the car. You could remove the upper isolators to help drop the car more. Not sure on the road noise factor though.

They are located on the top and bottom of the spring. round rubber pieces.

I wouldnt mess with the integrity of the springs. They arent there to lower or raise your car but to provide suspension. Mess with them and they may likely not do the job anymore the way they should. Outside of waiting for them to settle and removing the isolators, its basically either live with it or get some different springs. Thats how I see it.

Very well put. I just don't see the reason to heat up springs or cut'em.
